These 3 words are music to any developers ears. This means that you’ve made it beyond the “Gate Keepers” aka the Apple App Store Reviewers. To some developers, this is a daunting feat. “Have I violated the HIG?”, “Do I have an unexpected crash?”, “Have I mistakenly used a private API?”… All things that have crossed a developers mind after submitting a build for release and most certainly when it shifts to “In Review”.
Lets start at the beginning… Redux-Labs was founded in 2009 after years on Embedded Linux development and consulting. Our focus was building out open source patches to support cross-complication on a variety of embedded platforms, maintaining our in house cross-compiler and supporting pdaXrom (an Emdedded Linux Distribution) with support for x86, ARM, MIPS, M68k, etc.
After watching the OpenMoko and later WebOS flatline, we realized that the embedded market was shifting away from full blown Mobile Linux distributions for platform SDKs. We knew what our new calling was and Objective-C became our weapon of choice.
Fast forward 3 years, with 2 apps published in the Apple App Store, we opened up for business as an iOS development firm. As time passed we were able to secure clients with Public and Enterprise applications targets utilizing bleeding edge technologies.
